Bec Judd: New Face of our Spring 17 Campaign

Dolci Firme has a bit of a history with the amazing Bec Judd. Back in May 2014 Bec interviewed the owner and creative director of Dolci Firme, Bianca Buccheri for her Rebecca Judd Loves website. And the Dolci Firme Armadale boutique was featured Postcards, a TV show that Bec hosts that showcases the best that Victoria has to offer in terms of shopping & travel.

So Dolci Firme is absolutely thrilled to be working with Bec Judd once again. As a long time customer & admirer of Dolci Firme shoes we knew that Bec would be perfect as the face for our Spring campaign 2017. And the final result was magical. Here is an exclusive look at the behind the scenes from the day of the photo shoot!

For this shoot we used the best in the business. Bec was styled by Lana Wilkinson, makeup was done by Chantelle Baker, hair by Keely Alister and all campaign photos shot by Liane Hurvitz.

The shoes we chose reflected Bec’s classic and elegant style. All of our shoes are made in italy in the same factories that Louboutin, Valentino, Chanel, and Prada produce their product. Bec loves that she gets the same design & quality of the luxury Italian design houses without the designer price tag.

Bec just adored our new spring collection, so much so that she remarked to our creative director Bianca Buccheri that she wished she could keep all the shoes from the shoot. Bec’s particular favourites were this season’s signature pink velvet slip ons with a stunning pearl feature. As soon as she posted this pic below on Instagram they sold out instore & online. So our buyers immediately reordered another run of the style from our Italian factories.

You may have noticed in some of the images that Bec’s gorgeous daughter is in the images. That is because not only were we lucky enough to be shooting on a sunny Melbourne day but Bec was incredibly generous in letting us use her gorgeous house as the location shoot.

We hoped you enjoyed taking a sneek peek behind the scenes of our Bec Judd // Dolci Firme Spring 17 photo shoot. All the shoes featured in the shoot can be found online at www.dolcifirme.com.au until stocks last.

The Menswear Edit

See where your next steps will take you with some of the seasons most coveted shoes.

Most of our shoes are made in Italy with soft Italian leathers at affordable prices….Here are some picks we made for you.

“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world”  was famously said by Marilyn Monroe.

No women can doubt the power of donning on a killer pair of stiletto heels. Though, to the lady bosses that conquer the boardroom, rejoice to the amazing news – the kitten heel trend is continuing this season! Without sacrificing style for comfort, nothing says ladylike more than a classy pair of kitten or very low heels. There is something very Audrey Hepburn about it.

As seen on fashion sensations like Chiara Ferragni from the Blonde Salad and Tatyana from LAFOTKA, kitten baby heels are very versatile. They can transform the most casual white t-shirt and jeans into a chic outfit or add a touch of ladylike to rocker style.

The small to mid heel trend is widely popular amongst street style blogs during the 2017 autumn winter fashion week in Paris, New York, London and Milan. Let’s have a look at our top picks for kitten and baby heels in the four fashion capitals:

All Dolci Firme shoes are designed in Melbourne and made from the highest quality Italian leathers. See what our designer Bianca Buccheri has chosen as the pick of low heeled shoes for the season:

Start shopping our new collection online at www.dolcifirme.com.au or visit a local boutique/Myer concession store in Sydney or Melbourne.

With New York Fashion Week been and gone, our Instagram feeds are looking a whole lot duller. We saw designers from across the globe come together to embrace the essence of individuality and quirk, and what it means to empower women through fashion. Our heads turned from the runway to the roads, where girl bosses filled the streets of New York in angular silhouettes paired with quintessential leather boots.

It’s all about making a bold statement this season, and what better way to do so than to funk up your footwear. From leopard print to lace-ups, you’re sure to turn heads wherever you go.

The Perfect Black Pump for Autumn

Autumn is sadly here but we cannot resist to start showing off our new Bianca Buccheri black pumps. Its almond toe and sexy stiletto heel with small details set it apart from others on the market.

They are made in a specialized artisan Italian shoe factory using the best quality leathers.

Soon we will be launching our new collection and we are very excited to show you more soon….Stay Tuned! X DF

Dolci Firme – The sweetest thing

When you’ve been in the shoe industry for long enough, you learn to identify what
type of ‘shoe person’ every individual is.

You see, there are three types of people in the world of shoes. There are those who
completely adore, live and breathe shoes; those who enjoy shoes but find oxygen
sufficient for breathing; and those who have absolutely no interest in shoes aside from
appreciating that they provide a barrier between their feet and the ground. You can
probably guess which category those of us at Dolci Firme Shoes fall into!

Ever since first opening our doors in 1999 at the Como Centre in South Yarra, we
have been providing top quality products for the men and women of Melbourne,
making sure to accommodate for all ages and budgets. We have also paid close
attention to worldwide trends, taking note of what’s happening on international
catwalks and thereby remaining at the top of the ever-growing fashion industry.

When translated, Dolci Firme means “sweet signatures” or “sweet labels” and
stems from our promise to supply an Italian quality shoe of the same standard as
international designers without the designer price tag. In fact, the Bianca Buccheri
brand is manufactured by factories that also work with Valentino, Sergio Rossi,
Jimmy Choo and many more designer labels. We also do our best to find the same
leathers and accessories used by these labels.

Most importantly to us, however, is the fact that all of our shoes are made in Italy.
Since our debut into the Melbourne retail scene over ten years ago, we have offered
local Italian brands, renowned International Designer brands as well as our Italian-
made house brand Bianca Buccheri (that you won’t find anywhere else). Because the
finest craftsmen in the world make all our shoes and handbags with genuine Italian
leather, our customers can be confident that they are buying the best.

In 2009, we opened another Dolci Firme store in the historical Georges Building at
the “Paris” end of Collins Street, Melbourne. With the cosmopolitan vibe of the CBD
and the exquisite shoes that we have on display, this store really will make you feel
Parisian chic!

At Dolci Firme we welcome everyone with open arms no matter how obsessed or
unaffected you are by shoes. However to those men and women who do share our
love of all things shoes, we warn you that once you step foot in our store (no pun
intended) you won’t want to leave… or at least not without a few fabulous new

We look forward to seeing you in store soon and in the meantime keep checking out
our new blog for great stories, information and pictures.
